Our Founder
Bridget Walsh is the founder of Upstate Wellness & Recovery, her private practice dedicated to recovery and wellness support. With an extensive background in healthcare management, behavioral health, and caregiving, Bridget created Upstate Wellness & Recovery to provide innovative, personalized care that addresses clients' mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
In addition to her work at Upstate Wellness & Recovery, Bridget currently serves as the Director of Support Services at Aspire365, where she oversees comprehensive support services to improve patient outcomes and streamline care coordination. Her earlier leadership roles include directing case management services at Baymark Health Services & The Coleman Institute in Richmond, VA, and managing corporate wellness programs at Envera Health (formerly Central Virginia Health Network), focusing on nutrition, exercise, and mental health education.
Bridget’s career has been built on developing whole-person approaches, fostering strategic partnerships, and improving access to quality services. In 2018, she was awarded Employee of the Year at The Coleman Institute for her contributions to transforming healthcare practices.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Plattsburgh and is a Certified Health Coach through SUNY Purchase. She is also credentialed in Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling, as well as a certified interventionist, bringing a holistic, compassionate approach to every client she works with.
Outside of her professional life, Bridget enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, meditating, and spending time with her dog, Cassie!
